I'm actually going to Hogsmeade this weekend, and I'm going all by myself. I'll see the rest of you lot there, though I suppose you'd have to be on your own as well in order for us to pal around... Oh well.

I know, I've been avoiding everyone. I've got this cold-thing happening, so I've been keeping to myself as to not get anyone else sick. Don't bother with trying to get me to the Hospital Wing - I'm not going. I don't see any reason for it unless it's something really bad, and a cold is hardly drastic.
Not that it's kept me from Quidditch - I'd never miss a game unless I was in a coma or something as serious. I'm sorry we lost, but Slytherin played a good game, and I say 'Well played!' to them all.
I do believe I'm getting better, though. I can breathe through my nose again, if it counts for anything.

Oh, bloody hell I banged my knee up on the way to the Common Room. Tripped down the stairs, then onto my bag, and my ink is now soaked into the fabric. Anyone know a way to get it most of the way out?

You lot might be mad about the points James and I lost us, but you've got to admit, it was a bloody good prank. And it isn't as if it takes ages to earn them back, either; not with Quidditch matches starting soon, and it only being the first month of school. We've got until the end of May before the House Cup is awarded to anyone.
At least all those rules aren't real.
